Lucky and Flashy will always be a much loved and special mare to us. We purchased her as a two year old in 1998 and she became our daughter Maddi's first show mare. In 2001, Lucky and Maddi place 4th in the NRHA Youth 13 & Under Top Ten and 5th in the Youth 13 & Under Saddlesmith Series Top Ten. Lucky had a big heart and gave her all every time. She and Maddi were constant companions as Maddi entered her teenage years. When we retired her from her show career, she went on to become a very successful broodmare.
Under our breeding program, she produced Roosters Tru Luck, 2000 bay stallion by Gallo Del Cielo, earner of over NRHA $50,000.
We are such fans of this mare that we leased Lucky and Flashy's dam, Flashy In Spirit, and bred her to Lean With Me for a 2009 foal. The resulting foal will be a full sibling in blood to Lucky and Flashy.
